The Apprenticeship Levy

The official government guidance on the levy

On April 6th 2017 the way apprenticeships in England are funded changed.

Some employers are now required to contribute to a new apprenticeship levy, and there have been changes to the funding for apprenticeship training for all employers.

The levy requires all employers operating in the UK, with a pay bill over £3 million each year, to invest in apprenticeships.

There is a lot of information available on the levy on various websites; with varying levels of accuracy. We will only reference the official government guidance on the levy, to ensure you get the most accurate and up to date information.

The latest government guidance on the levy can be accessed here.
